WaveFlyer is an all electric watercraft that's part boat and part hydrofoil, invented by ElectroNautic of Australia. It's the world's first flying personal watercraft.  The vehicle combines features of boats and hydrofoils to move and literally fly above the waves.  The inventors say it offers a smooth, quiet and eco-friendly water ride.  Being all electric, it's not spewing fuel into the water.

This new type of watercraft, which is still in the prototype phase, is the invention of Australian researchers in partnership with the University of Western Australia.  It's the next technological iteration on an electric jet ski. Netting a Drone - US Army Countermeasure

US Army Invention - Drone Defense Source:  US Army Drone Netting Device Drone Netting Grenade U.S Army researchers have created a 40 mm grenade to protect the armed forces from menacing, enemy or rogue drones.  The defensive drone grenade takes out the drone with a weighted net. Countermeasure - Net Bagging a Drone The net is spring loaded and ejects from the front of the grenade when it nears the drone target.  The net can be triggered remotely by a person on the ground or automatically by an onboard proximity sensor.
