Here's what we know: The umbrella under development is the size of Argentina The Climate Change team is from Technion-Israel Institute of Technology They say it could be achieved by 2027 The cost could reach trillions of dollars Called the "Sail", it would sit 9 million miles from Earth The umbrella consists of lightweight solar sails affixed to a solar powered craft White House announced that it is open to plans to block sunlight to halt global warning Israeli team expects to have a prototype in the next 3 years The umbrella will need a specially designed rocket to take it into space During the space flight, the umbrella would be folded inside and open up when it reaches its destination...
