T-Mobile 5G Phones to Be Connected to SpaceX Starlink Satellites                                            Source:  SpaceX, T-Mobile Promise of No More Connectivity Dead Zones 24-7, anyplace internet connectivity for T-Mobile 5G phone users is the promise of the new deal between Elon Musk's SpaceX and T-Mobile.  T-Mobile CEO Mike Sievert and SpaceX/Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that T-Mobile users' phones, on the T-Mobile network, will be directly connected to SpaceX's Starlink satellites. According to Musk, this will provide the T-Mobile phones with internet connectivity just about everywhere. Google Tech Gets Big Win from GM Source:  GM Embedding Google Tech in 3.6 Million Cars Yearly GM has selected Google Technology, parent company Alphabet, to be embedded in their vehicles starting in 2021.  The win for Google is huge.  Their tech could be installed in 3.6 million GM vehicles yearly.  The Google technology will power navigation and provide voice-activated controls.  It will also deliver expanded infotainment functions.  Google beat Amazon for this deal which is part of a big, emerging race among technology companies to control vehicle dashboards, globally. Very Connected Dairy Cattle Source:  Cows with Cisco's 5G collars Cisco Systems UK Tests 5G connected cows are engaged in testing a milking system of the future.  They are Friesian dairy cattle and they have 5G connectivity way before most of us do. 5G Network Infrastructure Being Tested Cisco Systems is designing network infrastructure for 5G.  In three rural locations in the UK, they've setup 5G test sites to see how wireless and mobile connectivity performs.  5G promises super fast connectivity.  According to experts, the first nationwide coverage in the US, Japan and China won't happen until 2023. CowTech 50 dairy cows are outfitted with several 5G gadgets.  The primary one is a collar that controls a robotic milking machine.  The cows also have health-monitoring ear tags.  Cisco says the devices don't harm the cows in any way.  They're testing the ability of 5G to send data from the sensors much faster than a typical farm ...
