Car that Walks and Drives Source: Hyundai Elevate Concept Car The Elevate Gives New Meaning to "Door to Door" It's walking automotive innovation. Hyundai just introduced a very impressive concept car, The Elevate. Robotic Car It drives on a traditional suspension. But each wheel is connected to a robotic leg that can be deployed to walk over rough terrain and take you where you can't drive. Humanitarian Concept This robotic car can climb a 5 foot vertical wall, go up and down stairs and walk. The idea is to help first responders and people with disabilities traverse "the last mile or last 100 yards". Hyundai at this time doesn't have plans to put it into full production.
