China's state news agency Xinhua is debuting a virtual anchor to deliver the news 24 hours a day. They call it their artificial intelligence "AI News Anchor" out of Beijing. Robotic News This AI robot anchor has been developed by Xinhua and the Chinese search engine company Sogori. It simulates the human voice, facial expressions and gestures. Xinhua says it learns from live broadcasting videos and can read just like a human professional. Is This the Future of News? Not quite yet. But it's a big trend.
