Eco Friendly Big Rig Source: Thor - ET-One 18 Wheeler, ET-One It's a very sleek electric big rig with zero emissions. ET-One is a formerly fuel-burning truck that Los Angeles based start-up company Thor has converted into an all electric road warrior that's good for the environment. The technology developed to do this conversion has been cited as one of the top 50 innovations of 2018. Air Pollution There are more than 3 million tractor trailers on US highways, spewing millions of tons of carbon pollution every day. The ET-One can haul up to 80,000 pounds 300 miles on a single charge. A regular semi can carry the same weight but has much greater range.
