Mars & Life - New Evidence

Image
Discovery of  Underground Lake & Nearby Salt Ponds                   Source:  European Space Agency's Mars Express Water Could Mean Some Form of Life Exists on Mars There may be life on Mars.  Scientists have found evidence of a large underground lake and a number of small salt ponds nearby.  This discovery raises the possibility that some form of "Martian" life exists on Mars.  Scientists say where there is water, there is life. ESA's Mars Express Spacecraft The new science comes from Europe.  Italian scientists used data from the European Space Agency's Mars Express Spacecraft.  They specifically analyzed data from the Mars Advanced Radar for Subsurface and Ionosphere Sounding instrument (the MARSIS). They determined that the lake is large - 18.6 miles by 12.4 miles.  The scientists says that the subglacial lake could have important consequences for "astrobiology and the presence of habi...

2 SUPER-EARTHS DISCOVERED

Search for Life in Space Source:  HARP  Gliese 887 & Exoplanets 2 Exoplanets That Could Support Life A team of German scientists have discovered two, Super-Earths just 11 light years away from Earth.  The astronomers spotted them near the red dwarf star Gliese 887.  They are outside of our solar system and they could sustain life. Earth Like University of Gottingen astronomer Sandra Saffers reported in the journal Science that the 2 exoplanets provide the best possibilities for the search for life outside of our solar system.  In their report, the astronomers said they believe the exoplanets could contain liquid water and have a rocky surface like the Earth. They also have calculated that the surface temperature on these exoplanets at 158 degrees (F) or 70 degrees (C). NASA and SEARCH FOR LIFE IN SPACE

Image
"Search for Life in Space" by Edward Kane  New Book on Search for New Forms of Life in the Universe Are there new forms of life, perhaps even highly advanced civilizations, in space?  The collective opinion of many top global scientists and experts at NASA, the European Space Agency and the Chinese Space Agency is YES. Visitors From Space As a journalist, I've written "Search for Life in Space" to document the scientific undertakings now underway to make our civilization the first to find life in the universe - life that may be radically different from ours.  We start the space journey with images of UFOs over the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.  The images were shot by US Navy pilots and just released by the US Department of Defense to show that UFOs are real.  On Kindle at  ASIN: B088PX6HFD NASA, UFOs and Aliens NASA has made a priority of finding new forms of life in the universe.  In fact, NASA Director Jim Bridenstine says "we are wel...

AMAZING LOOK AT JUPITER's STRONG STORMS

Image
Amazing Look at Jupiter's Strong Storms with NASA Tech Source:  NASA Jupiter Thunderstorms Place in the Universe Where the Weather is Never Pleasant The image is one of the highest resolution, infrared views of the Planet Jupiter ever taken.  And, the view is simply  amazing.  Jupiter is lite up in huge thunder storms. This image is the result of the most highly advanced  space technology and the scientists behind it teaming up.  NASA's  Hubble Space Telescope, the Gemini Observatory in Hawaii and the Juno spacecraft came together to explore the fiercest storms in the solar system.  The location of some of the Universe's worst  weather is Jupiter, more than 500 million miles from Earth. It appears weather is never pleasant there. Stormy Weather A team of researchers led by U-CAL Berkeley's Michael Wong are using the images coming in to learn how Jupiter's turbulent atmosphere and weather work.  Storms are constant on Jupit...
