From China - XPeng Road Drives & Can Take Off & Fly New Travel Vehicle That is Launching China's XPeng, an automotive company specializing in the development of electric vehicles along with HT Aero, an urban air mobility vehicle affiliate, is bringing a real driving/flying car to market in 2024 for the public to buy. As you can see in the images, the electric vehicle is a beauty and a classic looking car-combo-plane EV.  This appears to be the promised flying car we have all been waiting for. NASA Returns to Moon in February 2022

NASA's 1st Moon Rocket Mission Since Apollo                                                Source:  NASA Artemis 1 Artemis 1 NASA is making a return to the Moon.  The NASA Artemis 1 mission will be launched in February 2022.  It will contain the latest, next-generation of deep space exploration technologies for Artemis 1 to explore on and around the Moon.  NASA will use it huge and powerful Space Launch System (SLS) rocket to reach the Moon.  The SLS rocket is 332 feet tall!  The Apollo missions officially ended in 1975.  NASA is investing a great deal of technology, strategic goals and NASA agency scientific aspirations into their newest venture to the Moon.  Integrated Testing Underway for Take-off This mission will be conducted without any human crew onboard.  What NASA calls final integrated tests are now taking place.  The tests include interface verification, total end to end communications systems, specific engineering programs and much more.  The technology involved is awes

Apple iPhone manufacturer Foxconn, headquartered in Taiwan, has combined with Italy's leading luxury car design studio Pininfarina  to create an all-electric sedan.  The vehicle is called the Foxtron Model E and the company says it is going full throttle into the electric car business.  The new EV is sleek, stylish and contains state of the art technology.  It raises an intriguing question.  Could Foxconn, which is a trusted iPhone manufacturer for Apple, possibly end up becoming the manufacturer for Apple's long anticipated electric car?  That is a very valid, open question, but we will all just have to wait and see.  In the meantime, the new Foxtron is a very impressive automotive design and contains leading edge technology. Toyota's New Push to Bring Solar Powered Vehicles into Lineup                                             Source:  Toyota Mix of Zero Emissions Vehicles Coming From Toyota Toyota has made a new commitment to equipping its cars with highly efficient solar power systems and batteries.  It's embarking on an R&D partnership with Japan's National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, which has strong expertise in renewable energy production.  Also joining the partnership is Toyota Central R&D which focuses on breakthrough technological advances for Toyota.  Toyota is showcasing its Toyota bZ4X concept, which is an electric vehicle with solar panels that feed an onboard solar charging system to extend the vehicle's range. bZ stands for "below zero" emissions and 4X for four wheel drive, which Toyota claims gives the vehicle off-road capabilities. GetGo - New Technology Experiment at Tesco in London                                             Source:  Tesco Supermarket Chain UK & Amazon Palm Pay Mobile Apps & Digital Paying - Big New Grocery Trend Tesco, the United Kingdom's largest supermarket chain, is testing a scan-less - just walk in and walk out - grocery payment system that is based on a mobile app.  The trial is called Tesco GetGo.  To buy groceries without scanning the items or going through the checkout, the shopper, when they enter the store, needs to download the Tesco mobile app.  All items that the shopper selects are tracked and charged to the shopper's Tesco account.  The transaction is finalized on a QR code that is scanned by the customer's phone. Tesco says a receipt is provided to the customer within minutes.  This time-savings, no customer lines, seamless paying method appears to be a mega-trend for grocery shopping as big retailers are latching onto it, including retailing giant Amazon.

The revolutionary new flying machine is called Air One. With collapsible wings and retractable landing gear, it can fit in a garage, so there's no need to rent hanger space. AIR hopes to start selling the personal, electric vertical takeoff and landing vehicle (eVTOL) directly into the individual consumer market, primarily in the US, by 2024.  The company has smartly jumpstarted the process by working directly with the FAA for two years on licensing and regulations to ensure that the vehicles are safe and legal.  AIR says that it expects to be cleared for takeoff by the FAA by the end of 2023.
