Rather than using electricity, the coating heats up the surface with sunshine. Sudden drops in temperature or increases in humidity cause the fogging on your glasses or windshield. Gold Nanoparticles The coating is transparent and is composed of gold nanoparticles in titanium oxide. The nanoparticles absorb the sunlight and heat the surface 5.4 degrees to 7.2 degrees F.
