It hovers and makes quick turns in flight. It's important new technology for difficult to get to places in search and rescue and surveillance. It can nimbly travel through the air, debris and crowded spaces. It's enabled by artificial intelligence. Machine Learning The robotic hummingbird was trained on machine learning algorithms based on hummingbird flying techniques. The robot is able to develop maps as it tracks and touches surfaces and doesn't need a camera. The little robots have 3D printed bodies, wings made of carbon fibers and laser cut membranes.
