This new, electric travel technology could radically change your city commute.  URBY is an electric, hands-free skateboard that just debuted.  It's the next generation of smart, powerful electric longboards that are loaded with technology.

The all-electric board is 10x36 inches, weighs 25 pounds, reaches maximum speeds of 26 mph and has a 16 mile range.  The board is loaded with load cells that understand the movement of the center of gravity on the board as you coast along.  According to the inventors, the board has a highly "intellectual" electric drive and maintains control through an intuitive interface for moving body weight.  It's lighter and smaller than a bike or scooter and is eco-friendly as it's all-electric.

URBY is now available on Kickstarter .  The electric longboard has an easy stop and go mechanism.  There is no remote control.  It has a mobile app to chronicle the right boarding mode and the parameters of the board for the individual rider.  Besides app control, it has analytics. The control unit has both WIFI and Bluetooth. Netting a Drone - US Army Countermeasure

US Army Invention - Drone Defense Source:  US Army Drone Netting Device Drone Netting Grenade U.S Army researchers have created a 40 mm grenade to protect the armed forces from menacing, enemy or rogue drones.  The defensive drone grenade takes out the drone with a weighted net. Countermeasure - Net Bagging a Drone The net is spring loaded and ejects from the front of the grenade when it nears the drone target.  The net can be triggered remotely by a person on the ground or automatically by an onboard proximity sensor.
