Unveiled at CES 2021

The Lenovo X1 Titanium Yoga ThinkPad has been cited as one of "The Best Gadgets of 2021" and among the best new laptops by technology experts.  The device is Lenovo's slimmest ThinkPad.  The design is sleek and the body is composed of titanium. The device weighs 2,5 pounds and is less than 1/2 inch thick.  It's being called a "Revolutionary ThinkPad".

New Tech

The device features a 360 degree chassis and a stylus for notetaking and drawing. The convertible two-in-one has a 13.5 inch 2 K 450-nit display with a 3:2 aspect ratio.  It has an IR camera for touchless sign-in, a fingerprint reader and it is 5G ready.  In terms of specs, the 3:2 display is tall and adaptable to all sorts of productivity.  It includes 11th generation Intel chips.  It is Intel Evo certified for performance, features and battery life and has 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports,  It is a premium laptop that's getting rave reviews for its looks, performance and functionality.  The starting price is $1,899.

Netting a Drone - US Army Countermeasure

US Army Invention - Drone Defense Source:  US Army Drone Netting Device Drone Netting Grenade U.S Army researchers have created a 40 mm grenade to protect the armed forces from menacing, enemy or rogue drones.  The defensive drone grenade takes out the drone with a weighted net. Countermeasure - Net Bagging a Drone The net is spring loaded and ejects from the front of the grenade when it nears the drone target.  The net can be triggered remotely by a person on the ground or automatically by an onboard proximity sensor.
