The Ultimate Hotel Getaway

Ritzy hotel chain Ritz-Carlton is adding a new business line to its real estate portfolio.  Three new superyachts are being added to serve as 5-star, luxury hotels on the high seas.  The first yacht named Evrima will launch for a Mediterranean cruise in August 2022.  The 623-foot yacht contains 149 large, luxurious suites and can accommodate 298 guests. The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has just provided journalists with an inside look at the gorgeous vessel. Evrima has three homeports: Fort Lauderdale, Barbados and San Juan.

Very Accommodating

The suites aboard the yacht are among the ultimate in travel.  Each has floor to ceiling windows, a balcony to enjoy the ocean views and very high ceilings to create a feeling of spaciousness.  If you're travelling with your family, you can customize and combine suites to form a much larger, open concept space.  There are also loft suites with two floors of space.  The walls are soundproofed and Ritz-Carlton staples like luxurious linens, huge king-sized bed and double vanity bathrooms are on board.

Future of Ritz Yachting

The future looks rich for Ritz-Carlton yachting.  The company is in the process of building two more vessels for hotel-cruising.  The voyages on the yachts range from a week to 10 days.  Destinations include the Mediterranean, Central America, South American and the Caribbean.

What's On Board

There are a lot of luxury accommodations on board.  The Evrima has a Ritz-Carlton signature restaurant called the S.E.A. with fine wines, champagne and fine dining from their Michelin restaurant chef.  There is also a curated selection of ESPA spa treatments and products.  Prices vary on destinations.  But, for example, a 7-day voyage in the Caribbean starts at $5,100 per person in a double occupancy suite. Two more Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection ships will go into service in 2024 and 2025.  It is a fascinating new way to travel in a top-of-the-line hotel on the high seas.
