- French space balloon startup Zephalto is partnering with the French Space Agency to launch space balloons for tourists to travel to the stratosphere by 2025
- The space balloons are primarily powered by solar energy, filled with hydrogen & helium gas & lighter than air
- The 6-hour journey to the edges of space will offer spectacular views in very luxurious accommodations
- Balloon is capable of carrying 6 passengers, 2 pilots & crew
- Vehicle floats for 1&1/2 hours up to an altitude of 15.5 miles above earth, stays there for 3 hours for the tourists to enjoy looking at the curvature of the Earth & then floats down for 1&1/2 hours for the landing
- Cost for the journey of a lifetime: $132,000 which includes top French cuisine and Gallic wines

LISTENING TO THE SEA TO SAVE CORAL REEFS
- Google has formed an innovative partnership with marine biologists to save coral reefs
- Called "Calling in Our Corals", it's asking for people to become "Citizen Scientists" for a few minutes to support the effort
- Many coral reefs around the world are being devastated by Climate Change
- Marine biologists have discovered that healthy coral reefs emit sounds that are louder & more diverse than unhealthy ones
- Google is asking "Citizen Scientists" to listen to video clips of reef sounds, identify fish & underwater activity with the goal of creating the world's 1st library cataloguing sounds & sights coming from coral reefs in the world's oceans
- Big picture: coral reefs are extremely fragile and more than half have been lost in the past few decades as world & ocean temperatures have risen from Climate Change
- Coral Reefs could be the 1st ecosystem lost to Climate Change
- This project's top goal is to make the reefs the 1st ecosystem saved.
