SWEDEN's REVOLUTIONARY LUVLY O EV

  • Sweden's Luvly O micro EV is a revolutionary, 2-seat electric car that is redefining what a car can be
  • Built like a F1 race car, it has a composite safety shell to protect the passengers
  • Can be flat-packed and shipped like a piece of furniture and is being called the Ikea of cars
  • The Swedish microcar manufacturer intends to mass produce the tiny, ultraefficient car and sell it around the world using the flat-shipping method
  • Luvly derives its name from LUV or "Light Urban Vehicle" - small cars designed for city use

  3. 2 to 4-times more energy efficient
  4. Small battery 6.4kWh in 2 separate units that are removable

  • Additional innovation:  production & assembly process that allows for different types of vehicles, like cargo vans, to be built on it.

  • At the Google 1/0 Developers Conference, Google unveiled some long anticipated new products, including its 1st foldable phone, big AI advancements and its new AI model Pal.M 2 that will power its Bard chatbot, trained to speak 100+ languages and fed reams of academic papers
  • Here are some highlights:
  • New Search:  Google AI search will write the answer for you, not just provide links, with some experts saying it could revolutionize search
  • Foldable Phone:  Google Pixel Phone will be available for sale in late June, at a price of $1,799 and some experts think it will be a gamechanger
  • More Google Products: Also launched Google Pixel Tablet and new Pixel smartphone
  • Google Maps: Added 3D "Immersive" views for routes in certain cities


AMAZON LOADING HOME ROBOT ASTRO WITH AI

  • Amazon is greatly upgrading its highly advanced home robot named Astro with AI and intends to further expand upon its capabilities with generative AI or ChatBot
  • Astro is now being sold in the US by invitation only for $1,599
  • The smart little robot is equipped with Alexa and is controlled by voice commands
  • AI enables Astro to learn about different characteristics and aspects of its household and perform & expand upon its repertoire of tasks
  • Robot incorporates new advances in AI, computer vision, sensor technologies, voice and edge computing
  • Examples of Astro's capabilities:
  1. Provides live view of home to owner while away
  2. Does household security monitoring, including alerts if windows or doors are opened or closed
  3. Keeps an eye on pets
  4. For health care, is being paired with Alexa Together to provide remote care giving services with 24-hour emergency access and direct connection to family
  • With the boom in AI and generative AI ChatBot, capabilities will continue to expand.

Massachusetts based startup Artech's water paddleboard is a  new, green innovation. It's made from reclaimed and recyclable polyethylene, making it good for the environment. The board is ten feet long and takes less than 60 seconds to snap together. Enjoying the Environment and Not Hurting the Environment Easy Eddy weighs 37 pounds and fits into most cars, SUVs and boats. And it can support weights up to 200 pounds. Netting a Drone - US Army Countermeasure

US Army Invention - Drone Defense Source:  US Army Drone Netting Device Drone Netting Grenade U.S Army researchers have created a 40 mm grenade to protect the armed forces from menacing, enemy or rogue drones.  The defensive drone grenade takes out the drone with a weighted net. Countermeasure - Net Bagging a Drone The net is spring loaded and ejects from the front of the grenade when it nears the drone target.  The net can be triggered remotely by a person on the ground or automatically by an onboard proximity sensor.
