Delivery in Spring 2020
BMW is kicking off its fully electric vehicle offensive with its Mini Electric.  The new iconic electric Mini will be manufactured at its British factory outside of Oxford starting later this year and will be available to customers in Spring 2020.

Electric Vehicle Commitment
BMW says  by 2023 it will have 25 electric models on the market.  Half of which will be fully electric.  In their electric offensive, BMW is two years ahead of schedule.  The Mini Electric is their leading edge with a range of 144 miles per charge and a top speed of  93 mph.  BMW plans to manufacture the vehicle in the UK for domestic and global distribution. BMW recently reaffirmed its commitment to manufacture in the UK despite Brexit, which could cause new tariffs, regulatory issues and other disruptions as the UK leaves the European Union.  For a free Kindle borrow of my book on travel, go to amazon.com/author/ekane  "How to Travel in the Future" ASIN: B07MY8C3HG
