The US Space Force wants to track "abnormal observables" in Earth orbit that are of unknown origin. Here are some key facts:
New mission of the USW Space force is to identify and track mysterious objects that are in Earth orbit
Most of the time those objects are from other nations
The group will identify, work to understand, track and maintain custody of the objects, according to a document released by the US Space Force
The purpose is to ensure the safety of space vehicles flying in the Earth's orbit
They want to know where the vehicles are in real-time, how they got there, who owns them, what their potential capabilities are and who the operator is
A lot of advanced technologies will be applied to this, including radar systems, infrared and optical sensors, radio frequency monitoring, intelligence community information and data and images from space weather stations
The USSF has also hired several private companies to develop new technologies for the effort.

AN AI ROBOT TO FIX POTHOLES
