OPEN AI AIMS FOR "SUPERINTELLIGENCE"

- Open AI CEO Sam Altman is moving forward with groundbreaking research to achieve artificial intelligence (AI) "Superintelligence" or smarter than us humans. Here's what we know:
- Microsoft and Open AI are partnering to produce big advances in AI
- Microsoft is investing $10 billion in Open AI to accelerate the advances
- The investment includes research to build AI supercomputers
- Both companies can independently capitalize on the resulting advancements in AI technology
- The big goal of both companies is to bring AI to the superintelligent level - which means it's self-aware and smart enough to surpass human cognitive abilities - and to make it safe and determine the benefits.

LOUD BOOM HEARD ACROSS NEW ENGLAND SAID TO BE UFO BY HARVARD EXPERT
- Thousands of New Englanders felt their homes shake for 12 seconds from what a Harvard expert is calling a possible UFO explosion sound. Here's what we know:
- A Harvard observatory recorded the boom on the evening of 10-20-23
- The boom rattled windows and shook homes
- The noise didn't resemble anything like wind or aircraft
- Harvard University physicist and former head of Astronomy Avi Loeb is investigating and shared some findings:
- A UFO may have released explosive energy equivalent of 2400 pounds of TNT
- Sound moved at 1115 ft/sec
- Energy source may have come from a meteor
- The Mount Washington Observatory recorded the boom, put out a post and received reactions from 4000, many of whom experienced it
- UFO or meteor boom??? The explosive noise was heard in MA, New Hampshire and Maine!

FINALLY, CYBERTRUCK DELIVERIES
- It's taken Tesla 4 years to go from the idea of the Cybertruck to the actual delivery in late November 2023. Here's what we know:
- The first Cybertrucks will be delivered to customers on November 30, 2023 at the Tesla Gigafactory in Austin, TX
- Full volume production of the e-trucks will get underway in 2024
- Tesla has been showcasing the trucks in several US locations to demonstrate their fast acceleration and off-roading capabilities
- People are wondering about prices, which were originally set at $40,000 for a single engine, $49,000 for a dual-engine and $70,000 for a tri-engine with a 500 mile range
- CEO Musk has said it's going to be difficult to keep it affordable so we're waiting to see if there will be a price surprise or any other surprises with this much-anticipated EV.
