Charging Peddle Power

New Bike Gadget Charges Your Devices

No Battery - New Invention
It's called the CadenceX generator.  And the power comes from harnessing energy from the spinning wheels as you ride your bike.  It's designed to provide electrical power to any device on your bike, such as smart phones, lights, action cameras, GPS, smart locks and onboard screens.

Smart, "Brainy" Bicycles
The company that created the gadget is PedalCell, a Chicago startup.  A small rubber wheel spins in contact with the bike's front wheel. It sends the electrical energy it generates to a Smart Power Hub on the handlebars that directs the energy to targeted devices on the bike.  This is a very smart bike power device that's part of the next wave of what's being called "brainy bikes".  The company says the CadenceX will be available this summer.  It generates a maximum of 20 watts and is not intended to power electric bike motors.  For a free Kindle borrow of my latest book "List of Top New Gadgets", go to amazon.com/author/ekane ASIN: B07RSLHMWK
