150 European Cities with e-Scooters
Electric scooters are becoming the rage.  Sweden's Voi Technology plans to put thousands of scooters on the streets of Europe this summer to combat increasing scooter competition.  Voi is targeting 150 European cities.  Voi is a 9 month old "micromobility" startup and is already operating in 9 European nations and has done 2 million rides.

Summer Scooters
This summer, Voi is expanding into Germany, Belgium, Italy and Poland.  Germany is expected to authorize electric scooters on its streets this month.  Voi thinks Germany could be its biggest market. In Europe, there's a large commuting population and a lower amount of car ownership than in the US.
US tech giants like Alphabet and Uber are investing in the European scooter market  in expectation that the rental business will boom.

New Technology
Voi is rolling out new technology including its Voiager 2 which has Advanced Ride Assistance System functions like navigation assist, support and notification.  It also has a swappable battery for less downtime.  For a free Kindle borrow of my book "List of Top New Gadgets" go to amazon.com/author/ekane  ASIN: B07RSLHMWK
