Mystery Vehicles to be Unveiled at the Upcoming Jeep Easter Safari                                             Source:  Jeep Vehicles For Some of the Toughest Trails in the World Jeep is revealing teaser images of what appear to be exciting new and powerful off-road concept vehicles.  The concepts will be fully revealed at Jeep's annual Easter Safari off-roading extravaganza in Moab, Utah.  The key concept model in the top image is a hybrid-electric plug-in off-roading vehicle with what Jeep says are tons of extras, a roof rack and 4xe hybrid power.  Jeep says it will provide "open air freedom on some of the toughest trails in the world". It does not require a pilot's license. It is extremely lightweight at 190 pounds but can carry a pilot that weighs up to 210 pounds.  The aircraft is totally electric powered and there are zero emissions. Sky and Drive Commuting in Japan                                                        Source:  SkyDrive Automaker & Flying Car Startup Partner on Flying/Driving Taxis One of the world's leading automotive and motorcycle makers Suzuki and Japanese flying taxi startup SkyDrive are partnering to launch fleets of flying taxis, first in the Osaka Bay area of Japan in 2025.  SkyDrive's new vehicle called SD-XX is an eVTOL or electric vertical take-off and landing vehicle that operates like a helicopter and doesn't need a traditional runway to take-off from and land on.  Of big interest, SD-XX can drive to other locations once it lands.  SkyDrive has big backers in Toyota, Panasonic and Fujitsu.  SkyDrive intends to put the SD-XX prototype into commercial production in 2023.  Now partnering with Suzuki on R&D, manufacturing and mass production systems, SkyDrive will likely be able to bring large numbers of vehicles to market. The limited-edition supercar - only 55 will be handmade - packs a whopping 734 hp and 626 ft lbs. of torque.  It is the most powerful sportscar that Mercedes has ever created for customers.  The GT is said to be capable of speeds in excess of 200 mph.
