Brand New Form of Regional Commuting

Slovakia's AeroMobil has unveiled its second breakthrough flying car - the 4-seat AM NEXT.  The vehicle is a world first for driving and flying.  The company says the AM NEXT leverages the innovative technologies and engineering of its first flying car - the AM4.0 which is the world's first flying car to go into production.  The AM4.0 is a combination light plane and supercar.  It's a two-seat luxury vehicle priced at nearly $1.5 million that quickly shifts from driving to flying.  The AM4.0 will be delivered to customers in 2024 as perhaps the world's first commercial flying car for consumers.  AeroMobil's AM Next takes us on an all-new ride.

Ride Hailing Service

The company calls the AM NEXT a 4-seat, door to door, ride-hailing service for travel in the 100 to 500 mile range.  It's a supercar that flies and a light plane that can drive, all combined into one incredible vehicle that can accommodate 4 people.  The vehicle has been created by aerospace and automotive designers and engineers using very advanced technologies and materials, sophisticated styling and luxury design.  It will launch into operation in 2027 as an app-based, ride hailing service that the company says will provide significant time savings on regional commuting route within a 100 to 500 mile range.

Features and Tech Specs

AM NEXT is powered by a hybrid electric system that includes a turbocharged internal combustion engine generating 300 bhp.  The vehicle is capable of powering speeds up to 100 mph while driving on land and 160 mph while flying in the sky.  The range is 500 miles.  The company says AM NEXT can convert from driving to flying in just three minutes.  No announced pricing for buyers or ticket prices for consumers to travel on it as it is five years away from launch

What is the Potential Market Value of This Flying Taxi?

There are independent estimates that the market value of AM NEXT's ride hailing services in a route network it could service just in North America could be $70 billion yearly.  AeroMobil says AM NEXT is capable and qualified to use the existing infrastructure of 10,000 landing strips in the US alone, has greater range than eVTOLS and conforms with existing automotive and aircraft regulations.  AeroMobil's flying cars appear to have what it takes to get driving & flying very soon.  For more stories like this, go to https://read.amazon.com/kp/embed?asin=B09SDMGYDH&preview=newtab&linkCode=kpe&ref_=cm_sw_r_kb_dp_7FZCFMRZ7687P4RJWJT0
