                                        Source:  Urtopia
  • The world now has its 1st e-bike with ChatGPT that you can have a conversation with as you cycle along your way
  • Called the Urtopia Fusion, the very smart bike has been developed by Urtopia which calls it "a bike with a mind"
  • Urtopia is a cycling startup founded by cyclists & engineers from MIT, Cornell, CMU and UMN & headquartered in Hong Kong
  • The bike is loaded with tech: integrated AI ChatGPT, sensors, communications networks, real-time data recording & processing, anti-theft measures, GPS - all tied together by a controlling algorithm and smart ioT system
  • Bike also integrates platforms like Apple Health & Strava
  • Strava allows the cyclist to share their ride easily on social media
  • Apple Health lets the bike listen to the rider's health data & adjust power compensation immediately to make for better exercise and longer distance cycling
  • ChatGPT can give you directions, find a coffee shop and have a conversation with you on any topic as you pedal
  • This is probably the world's smartest, talking bike that sounds like it's well worth the ride
  • Urtopia just unveiled the e-bike - no price or availability info has been provided yet.

  • NASA and Boeing are developing a revolutionary new aircraft called the TTBW or Transconic Truss-Braced Wing that is designed to be the most fuel-efficient plane in the world
  • The critical difference:  the wings that are lightweight, ultra-thin, and highly aerodynamic
  • Key facts include:
  1. Single aisle aircraft
  2. 2 versions: 1 with passenger capacity of 160; the other, 210
  3. Top speed:  Mach 0.80
  4. Target:  30% cut in fuel use
  5. Enormous, Retractable Wings:  170 feet that will fold in half to fit inside a gate or hanger
  6. X-Plane: Designated by USAF, X-66A
  7. 1st X-Plane for sustainability & "greener, cleaner & quieter skies"
  8. Demonstrator: 2028
  9. Fully Operational:  2030-2035
  10. $1 billion ++ Funding:  $425 million from NASA & $725 million from Boeing & partners
  11. Expectation:  X-66A could rewrite the design of aircraft.

  • NASA's James Webb Space Telescope shot a picture of Saturn for the 1st time this week that is awesome
  • The infrared camera took the stunning photo and scientists added orange to the monochrome image to produce the dramatic showcasing of Saturn's iconic icy rings
  • There are also deep exposures of Saturn that scientists are analyzing to learn more about the planet's fainter rings and if it has more than the known 146 moons, which is the most of any planet in the solar system
  • Other very recent discoveries from Webb include the finding of a 6,000-mile-long plume of water vapor from the Saturn moon Enceladus, which is one of the most promising locations for life in space
  • Webb is an innovative, technological wonder and the largest. optical telescope in space with high resolution and high-sensitivity instruments, allowing it to view and photograph objects too old, distant or faint for its predecessor telescope Hubble to track.
