  • On the floor of the Pacific Ocean off New Guinea, Harvard Professor of Astrophysics Avi Loeb has found possible proof of the existence of extraterrestrial life
  • Prof Loeb led an ocean expedition to find any remains from a mysterious and spectacular space object that crashed into the Pacific in 2014
  • Loeb pinpointed the location of the crash to a 100 mile swath of the Pacific & his team made an astonishing discovery of 50 tiny metallic spheres composed of a substance unlike any alloy on Earth
  • Loeb is now engaged in further testing of the microscopic spheres to determine if they are natural or technological - possibly alien made
  • Prof. Loeb says the discovery has created a new area of astronomy in which the microscope, not the telescope, is being used to search for life beyond our solar system.

  • By early next year, the United Nations will begin food aid deliveries by AI powered robots, first in conflict ravaged Sudan
  • The reason:  attacks against UN humanitarian aid workers are escalating in disaster and conflict zones with 3 recently killed in Sudan
  • Using the technology keeps humanitarian workers out of harm's way
  • The AI robot trucks are amphibious and can carry 1 to 2 tons of food each from the UN's World Food Programme
  • The AI uses data from sensors and satellites to enable remote human drivers to steer the vehicles
  • South Sudan, where 7.7 million people are severely food deprived, is the first place where the UN will shift from human drivers delivering food to the AI powered robotic trucks
  • This is a compelling example of new technologies like AI and robotics helping humanity and assisting the UN in its goal to eliminate hunger.
