WORLD'S MOST FUTURISTIC CAR HAS NO WHEELS

- The world's most futuristic car concept has just been unveiled by Renault. It has no wheels. Here are some key facts:
- Called The Float, it's an engineering and innovation wonder, unlike any other car concept before
- Has no wheels and literally floats over the road on its glass pods
- Relies in Maglev technology - magnetic levitation - to travel
- The autonomous hovering vehicle is based on the technology in Elon Musk's hyperloop
- Composed of pods that can be magnetically belted together
- Each pod can carry 1 or 2 people
- Designed by 23-year-old Yuchin Cai for Renault
- Very glossy, bubble-like structure with a transparent glass exterior and sliding glass doors
- The Float is ready for a future of driving on roads with magnetic technology embedded in them.

- A British University will be the first in Europe to explore use of Hologram Avatar Lecturer technology. Here's what we know:
- Loughborough University will be the first European university to bring in Hologram Avatars as guest lecturers
- They're bringing in a sports scientist from MIT to teach fashion students how to create immersive shows
- LU students consider holographic images more engaging and real
- After a year of experimentation, the technology will be introduced into the curriculum in 2025
- The importance of this technology could be huge
- Proto, an LA-based company that sells the holographic units, says it could bring back some of the 20th century's greatest thinkers
- Proto says it can project the image of almost anybody, make it look real and hook it up to books, lectures, etc.
- Their AI Stephen Hawking would look, sound and interact just like him.
