  • On the eve of the total eclipse of the Sun by the Moon passing between the Earth and Sun, one wonders what the Moon will look like by 2100 and how will it be changed by human life?  Here are some key changes that NASA has in the R& D pipeline and that experts foresee:
  • Humans will be living on the Moon and will be supported by 24/7 infrastructure, transportation systems, energy systems, oxygen systems for breathing, robotics and telecommunications
  • NASA is developing plans for a hyperloop-like train network for ease of travel
  • NASA is also developing a lunar terrain rover for the Artemis Mission & today announced 3 companies to do it - Intuitive Machines, Lunar Outpost & Venturi Astrolab
  • Residents will ride around in Jeep-like rovers
  • Some futurists forecast Hobbit-like underground homes for humans
  • There will be vertical farms with fresh fruit and veggies that could be healthier than what we have on Earth
  • Autonomous robots will provide services for humans and also do some of the more dangerous work
  • NASA is planning vertical solar arrays to generate electricity for inhabitants and for work projects
  • While no nation can own the Moon, those who establish bases will own those pieces of real estate
  • A great deal of activity is expected to be focused on the Moon's poles, particularly the South Pole, where there is ice and water to help sustain human life
  • A lot is changing in space with human innovations advancing our footprint there
  • Now the universe will provide a spectacular eclipse of the Sun to thrill us tomorrow.

  • Called the Razor, the world's 1st flying motorcycle could debut by the end of the decade.  Here's what we know:
  • Razor was previously known as the Jetpack Aviation Speeder
  • Made by Mayman Aerospace of Ventura, CA
  • Technologies include the same specs as Mayman's super drone being developed for the military, including:
  1. Autonomous, high speed VTOL
  2. 8 small jet turbines
  3. Speeds above 460 mph
  4. Flies to 20,000 feet
  5. Range 200 miles
  6. Loads carried - 100 to 500 pounds
  • Because of its unique load capacity and speed, it's considered ideal for military uses and disaster relief in remote locations, or you could use it for a fast escape from your in-laws.
