Global Mega Space Project

World's Largest Ground Based Observatory Telescope

International Mega Science Project

Discovery and Innovation Center in Hawaii
The worlds largest, ground based observatory with the most advanced telescope is set to be built on Mauna Kea on one of the southernmost and most pristine islands in Hawaii.  India, along with institutions from the US, Canada, Japan and China are working on this.  One reason - this island's mountaintop affords one of the most magnificently clear viewpoints into space.

Top View
Mauna Kea already has the world's largest astronomical observatory on its summit.  The telescopes there are operated by astronomers from 11 nations. The combined light gathering power is right now 60 times the Hubble Space Telescope and 15 times greater than the Palomar Telescope in CA. This new global venture is going to build on it.

Next Steps
India is going to start manufacturing key components for the new, next G telescope; which will be the world's largest for exploring the universe.  For more news blogs, go to amazon.com/author/ekane
