CLIP on to Cycle Electric
The portable electric motor CLIP turns any bike into an electric bike in seconds. The device is small enough to fit into a backpack and weighs just four pounds.  It attaches to the front fork of the bike easily in seconds.

Rechargeable at Any Power Outlet
The device's battery powered, 450 watt motor is designed to add a boost of power to get up, for instance, difficult hills.  The inventors hope it makes bike commuting much more doable to cut CO2 emissions from cars. It's also bike share compatible.  Co-founder of CLIP Somnath Ray has an MS from MIT and worked at the MIT Media Lab on urban mobility.  He commuted by bike to work at the Lab and envisioned his bike going electric.  For more news blogs like this, go to amazon.com/author/ekane
