Future of Electric Crossovers
Nissan designers call this concept car "Baby FX" in homage to the original FX.  QX Inspiration is an electric midsize crossover.  It suggests the direction of crossover vehicles of the future.  Some key features:
  • Very wide body
  • Large, open interior and flat floor where designers created a Japanese style living room
  • Upfront entertainment screen that spans the width of the car
  • Suede tile-like floors, wood, leather and gold touches & trim throughout the interior
  • Deep creases on the sides
  • Very prominent Logo
Coming to a Dealership Near You 2021
Nissan intends to deliver the Infiniti QX Inspiration in 2021.  Interestingly, the company may debut another iteration on this concept at the Shanghai Auto Show in mid April. The company wants to electrify its entire lineup of vehicles by 2021.

Netting a Drone - US Army Countermeasure

US Army Invention - Drone Defense Source:  US Army Drone Netting Device Drone Netting Grenade U.S Army researchers have created a 40 mm grenade to protect the armed forces from menacing, enemy or rogue drones.  The defensive drone grenade takes out the drone with a weighted net. Countermeasure - Net Bagging a Drone The net is spring loaded and ejects from the front of the grenade when it nears the drone target.  The net can be triggered remotely by a person on the ground or automatically by an onboard proximity sensor.
