  • One of the hottest global races is the development of hydrogen fuel cell technologies, that will power growing numbers of EVs, space missions, clean energy systems and more.  Here are some key facts:
  • Demand for hydrogen fuel cell tech is expected to grow 535% in the next decade
  • Will be a $3 trillion market by 2030 and is one of the fastest growing investment markets
  • The explosive growth potential is being fueled by space missions to the Moon and Mars, air and EV travel
  • Big global companies like Airbus, Toyota and Honda are investing in h-tech development and competing in the race
  • Interesting startups are emerging like Connecticut-based Infinity Fuel Cell & Hydrogen which is developing unique hydrogen fuel cells that are not air/oxygen dependent but instead use oxygen molecules from water
  • Their air-independent, hydrogen fuel cells are made to power hard to reach environments like outer space and underwater
  • Their ultimate goal:  power Moon rovers & missions to Mars
  • Infinity has $50 million in contracts, including from NASA, Boeing & US Navy.
