  • What's being called the "final" Beatles record will be released this year thanks to Paul McCartney using AI technology to extract the voice of John Lennon from an old demo tape
  • Sir Paul didn't name the song but the BBC says it is likely to be a 1978 Lennon composition called "Now and Then"
  • The song was never released by the Beatles because of missing verses and John Lennon's tragic death
  • Paul McCartney just confirmed the release and the 80-year-old explained how he used AI - telling it, while playing the demo, "that's the voice...this is the guitar...lose the guitar" to extract Lennon's voice in its pure form
  • He finds AI tech "kind of scary but also exciting because it's the future"
  • McCartney also used AI to enable him to sing with John Lennon during his most recent concert tours
  • The Beatles are considered the bestselling musical act of all time with an estimated 600 million albums sold
  • Sir Paul has certainly put AI to great use by retrieving a piece of John Lennon's classic music from the distant past and giving it life again.

NYOBOLT BATTERY FULLY CHARGES EVs IN 6 MINUTES

                                                                    Source:  Nyobolt

  • A classic Lotus Elise sports car has been re-created as an all-electric aerodynamic gem & renamed the Nyobolt EV to showcase a world-class, record-breaking, ultra-high speed EV battery that does a full re-charge in 6 minutes
  • UK based battery developer Nyobolt worked in conjunction with renowned automotive designer Julian Thompson & design & engineering company Callum to re-create the stunning EV
  • Data on the battery:
  1. 6-minute full recharge
  2. 250 km range
  3. Sets a new automotive electrification record
  4. Significantly smaller & lighter than current EV batteries
  5. Potential to create lightweight & ultra-efficient EVs
  • This new battery, according to automotive experts, could be the first to level the cost & convenience playing field between gas-powered and electric cars
  • Nyobolt claims their new battery can create nimbler, more efficient EVs with lower upfront costs, lower running costs and less use of scarce raw materials
  • From all indications this ultra-fast battery is breakthrough innovation to be watched with interest for commercialization.

MAKING PRESCRIPTION DRUGS IN SPACE

                                                                        Source:  Stock

  • A California startup, Varda Space Industries, wants to manufacture pharma drugs aboard satellites in space because microgravity conditions may make the drugs more efficient & effective
  • Yesterday Varda launched its 1st test mission aboard a SpaceX rocket & the Varda's experimental satellite with drug manufacturing testing is now in orbit
  • Rationale:  testing has shown that protein crystals grown in space form more perfect structures that could create drugs more easily absorbed by the human body with better performance
  • Potential for consumers:  new, more effective pharma drug compounds
  • Potential for companies like Varda:  big profits through regularly sending satellites with drug experiments from pharma companies or hitting royalty jackpot on a blockbuster drug made in space
  • Issue:  Bringing the compounds back to earth through the withering heat & speeds the satellites endure
  • Competitors:  big including Bristol Myers Squibb & Merck
  • Citigroup forecasts the space economy to be valued at $1 Trillion by 2040 with space manufacturing a potentially important piece.
