CLIMATE CHANGE'S IMPACT ON WINE

- Climate Change has had many negative influences on our lives. But according to research from a world-renowned university, there is a standout positive. Here's what we know:
- Oxford University researchers have discovered that global warming is improving the quality of wine
- Specifically, warmer summers and wetter winters yield better wine
- The study took a look at 50 years of wine scores from the Bordeaux wine region
- The key finding: with greater warming wines get stronger
- Conversely, Climate Change is adversely impacting beer
- Global warming's rising temperatures is making lager and IPAs (Independent pale ales) taste more bitter
- As we sit back and reflect on the gloom and doom of Climate Change, we can at least raise a glass of Bordeaux and toast Climate Change for one achievement - improving the quality of our wine.
DISNEY'S HIGHLY IMPRESSIVE & CUTE ROBOT

- Disney's new, 2-legged robot is a robotic phenom with charm, personality, balance and plenty of walking moves. Here's what we know:
- Walt Disney Imagineering has created a bipedal robot that walks, dances, struts and shows of wide range of emotions - all with naturalness, balance and ease
- Being called a powerful display of engineering prowess
- Doesn't have a name yet
- Has a wide range of human interaction skills
- On social media, it's being hailed as "beautiful", "natural", "something every kid would want" and "a billion-dollar bot"
- Designers' goal: robot that is expressive as it moves
- Purpose: to bring to the real world the creative designs of Disney animators
- Robot designed by combining procedural animation, modular hardware and reinforcement machine learning to mimic and learn the unique walking styles of different Disney characters
- Resembles Disney's Wall-E from 2008 animation
- Disney hopes to use the same technique to accelerate future robotic designs
- This no-name robot is getting rave reviews, but no word yet on how Disney might market it.
STELLANTIS TEASES AN E-DODGE CHARGER CONCEPT
- Stellantis is teasing that a new, electrified, modernized version of the iconic Dodge Charger may soon debut. Here's what we know:
- Stellantis' Mopar brand is teasing the new electric concept
- Auto experts think it is an electrified Charger modernized for today's drivers
- Dodge Charger is an iconic car brand that goes back to 1968-1970 that was a breakthrough muscle car for that generation of drivers
- It looks ready to be resurrected as a 2023 concept EV at the upcoming SEMA show later this year.
