Ai-Da has been described by her British inventor as the world's most realistic, humanoid robot artist. On June 12, she'll open her first solo exhibit of 8 drawings, 20 paintings, 4 sculptures and several videos. The inventor is Aiden Meller who also owns an art gallery. The robot can paint from sight with cameras in her eyes. AI algorithms, created by scientists at the University of Oxford, enable her to paint. She sketches with pen or pencil and then the sketch is printed onto canvas. A human artist paints over the sketch.
