In the Gut

Good Bacteria
For those who suffer from food allergies, this is very promising medical research news.  Researchers at Brigham & Women's Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital have found a missing link.  In infants and children with food allergies, a key bacteria - so called "good bacteria" -  are missing in the gut.

Closing in on a Cure
Food allergies are a rising epidemic in the US.  32 million Americans have food allergies and nearly 8% of all American children have them. The Boston based research is still in the preliminary stage.  But the scientists say having identified the problem they are hopeful that they can quickly develop a treatment solution.  They're focusing on microbial therapies to protect kids from developing the problem and to reverse the disease in adults.  For a free Kindle borrow of my book "List of Top New Medical Innovations", go to amazon.com/author/ekane  ASIN: B07Q8WK98N
