Launching Own Space Station

Announces Second Lunar Mission
India is establishing itself as a global space leader.  It announced today plans to launch its own space station, following the country's first manned mission into space in 2022.  The announcement came from the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).  They are targeting 2027 for the space station launch.

Second Journey to the Moon
The space station would allow astronauts to stay onboard 15 to 20 days.  ISRO also announced its second lunar mission for mid-July.  The goal is to make a soft landing on the moon and put a rover on it.  That would further build India's leadership position in space technology.  For a free Kindle borrow of my books on the future of travel, including to space, go to amazon.com/author/ekane
