Goal: Cut E-Car Costs
Jaguar Land Rover and BMW are teaming up to jointly develop electric motors, transmissions and power electronics.  Their purpose is to reduce the cost of developing electric cars, make them more affordable and produce them more quickly.  The two companies say that together they can shorten development time and bring vehicles and state of the art technology more quickly to market.

Energy Sources with Zero Emissions
The global automotive industry is under pressure to develop zero emissions vehicles to clear tighter anti-pollution standards. It's difficult to maintain profit margins while costs are rising to make vehicles that are electric powered, offer autonomous driving and total connectivity.  BMW and Jaguar say this electric partnership will provide considerable cost savings.  Meanwhile, Fiat Chrysler and Renault are working on a $35 billion merger to cut costs and increase efficiencies.  For a free Kindle borrow of my book "List of Top New Energy Innovations", go to amazon.com/author/ekane ASIN: B07KM4XLH8
