Musk Believes You'll Be Able to Connect Your Brain to Computers in 10 Years
Elon Musk is an extraordinary innovator, entrepreneur and engineer.  He founded and is CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, the Boring Company and Neuralink.  With Neuralink, he's betting that you'll be able to connect your brain to computers to enhance your intelligence in ten years.

His vision is the development of ultra high bandwidth brain-machine interfaces to connect humans with machines.  Neuralink is developing the interface technology.  Musk says this will be done by connecting computer electrodes to neurons in your brain.  It would consist of a chip and according to Musk "a bunch of tiny wires implanted in your skull."   He believes it can be done.  So, does the US Defense Department's Advanced Research Projects Agency - DARPA - which is also working on developing the technology to make it happen.

Building the Start-Up Company
Neuralink is based in San Francisco.  On the website, Musk is recruiting scientists and engineers.  The visionary engineer argues that the way we interface with our phones, computers and watches is the beginning of brain-computer interfacing.  He calls the devices "a tertiary digital layer on your cognition."
