Online 2020
China has many very impressive, breakthrough innovations in renewable energy.  For instance, they lead the world in solar energy with the largest solar farms floating on water, which intensifies their effectiveness in electricity production.  They are now developing the world's largest power plant to turn trash into energy.  It's pictured above.  The Shenzhen East Waste-to-Energy Plant is under development and will become operational in 2020.

Impressive Expectations
The plant is the world's largest waste to energy power plant.  It's going to burn one-third of the huge city of Shenzhen's waste into energy.  That will provide energy and power to 100,000 homes.  It's a large scale, global first of waste to energy conversion - a great innovation space.  For more news stories on innovation, go to amazon.com/author/ekane
