CHINA'S 1ST ELECTRIC HUMANOID ROBOT IS A WORLD 1ST




                                                    

  • China's new Tiangong electric robot is a world first and a significant advancement in robotics.  Here are some key facts:
  • It's as tall as an average person at 5'4", powered by electricity and can jump and run effortlessly
  • Runs like a human with speeds up to 3.7 mph
  • Created by Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center
  • Technological wonder of advanced sensors and processors, including:
  1. Vision perception sensors
  2. High precision inertial measurement unit that performs 550 trillion operations per second
  3. 3D vision
  4. 6-axis force sensors
  • Can navigate complex terrain and perform tasks with precision
  • Can walk, run, change gait, effortlessly handle stairs & slopes
  • Tiangong is expected to go into service and manufacturing roles
  • It's part of China's plan to dominate the world in humanoid robots and put them into mass production in 2025.

JOBY AVIATION FLYING TAXIS' GLOBAL EXPANSION



                                                                    
                                    

  • CA-based eVTOL company Joby Aviation has another global partner and it's a big one in Saudi Arabia.  Here are some key facts:
  • Joby has its flying taxis nicely financed and partnered for global takeoff
  • It just signed a partnership MOU with Saudi Artabia's Mukamalah Aviation, which operates the world's largest fleet of corporate aircraft & is owned by oil giant Saudi Aramco
  • Deal includes the sale of Joby eVTOLs to Mukamalah
  • Joby is expanding in the Middle East with another agreement to operate air taxis in Dubai
  • It also plans to operate air taxi networks in big US markets like NYC and Chicago
  • To date, Joby has garnered more than $2 billion in investor money including from Toyota, Delta Airlines and Uber
  • The Joby eVTOL can carry a pilot & 4 passengers, hit speeds up to 200 mph, operates quietly and has zero emissions
  • These flying taxis may be operational next year.
