  • The Genesis X Dog car concept is the ultimate in a luxury car ride for your best friend.  Here are some key facts on this unique automotive idea:
  • The fido-friendly accommodations are fitted into the rear of the new Kia electric GV70 luxury SUV
  • Kia is using the EV's electricity and vehicle-to-load technology to provide 1st class accommodations for the dog during the ride, including:
  1. A built-in electric shower and hairdryer
  2. Heated plush bed
  3. A fold-up ramp to provide the dog with easy access in and out
  4. Personalized dog collar and matching safety harness to kept fido safe during the drive
  • The doggie module is color coordinated with the car and can be removed when more space in the back is needed

  • Google's DeepMind unveiled a new AI model designed to more quickly and successfully create blockbuster drugs.  This could be a medical gamechanger.  Here are some key facts:
  • The AI model is called AlphaFold3
  • According to Google, it "predicts the structure and interactions of all of life's molecules"
  • Current drug discovery process has a 90% failure rate and AlphaFold3 aims to dramatically increase the success rate
  • Accelerates process of finding highly promising drug candidates
  • Cuts the cost of developing a blockbuster drug which currently averages $3 billion
  • Google developed the AI model with Isomorphic Labs
  • Experts think this could be a breakthrough AI use
  • It's at the crest of a new wave:  many biotech companies are turning to machine learning models to develop new drugs and match patients to the right medicine for their individual biochemistry. Google's AI model could speed the process up.
