  • The secret weapon for Team GB is a NASA-inspired polymer in their sports outfits to help optimize their performances.  Several other Paris Olympics athletes from Ethiopia and France will be donning the same super-material.  Here are some key facts:
  • When the 2024 Summer Olympics open in Paris this July, Team Great Britain won't only look fashionable, they'll be in hi-performance NASA-inspired gear
  • Their sports outfits will contain a NASA-inspired polymer called Rheon
  • Created by Rheon Labs, it's an energy absorbing super-material that is responsive, lightweight and performance oriented
  • When subjected to force, Rheon absorbs the energy and stiffens to support the body
  • Experts think this polymer could prove to be a breakthrough for athletes by enhancing their safety and performance in highly competitive events like the Olympics
  • At least 3 world class athletes including last week's winner of the Men's London Marathon, Alexander Mungao, have worn running outfits with Rheon in them and broken records
  • The Rheon-containing sportswear features a swirling pattern across it and quite a few athletes are expected to be wearing it in Paris.
