THE KING - NOT THE BRIGHTEST BULB!
- An international team of scientists has found that the King of Dinosaurs, T-Rex, was probably not as smart as had been thought. Here's what we know:
- Previous experts had deduced that dinosaurs were as smart as primates
- Current endocasts (molds of fossil skulls) that estimate brain size and tissue proportions give a closer proximation of intelligence
- According to recent scientific findings, T-Rex's intelligence is closer to that of a crocodile rather than a lofty, smarty pants baboon
- So, who was the smartest dinosaur? The Troodon, a dinosaur with a brain the size of an avocado, that was a bird-like dinosaur and stood 11-feet tall.
