  • An AI laser camera with breakthrough technology could replace the stethoscope.  Here is what we know:
  • It's a laser camera equipped with AI and quantum technology
  • Can read a person's heartbeat and determine cardiovascular illness symptoms from a distance
  • Can be set-up in homes, offices, malls, etc.
  • Utilizes a high-speed camera and a laser beam pointed at the throat to detect movements of skin caused by blood flow
  • Glasgow University scientists, who developed it, believe this new invention could transform the way we monitor our health
  • Experts believe the stethoscope, which was developed in France in the 19th century, may be replaced by this new invention.

  • The US Department of Energy is forecasting an energy future in which houses are also power plants of green generated energy.  Here are some key details:
  • The US Department of Energy predicts that half of the new power the US needs will come from people, their houses and businesses using smart technology
  • Driving force is green technologies like solar panels and smart thermostats that can turn households and businesses into virtual power plants
  • Unused, excess energy will be discharged to the grid
  • Also, incentives to conserve energy will support the effort
  • The US DOE expects this green, megatrend to grow by 3-times by 2030
  • DOE also says it's cheaper and cleaner to send excess energy from homes and businesses back to the grid rather than building centralized energy producing facilities.

Netting a Drone - US Army Countermeasure

US Army Invention - Drone Defense Source:  US Army Drone Netting Device Drone Netting Grenade U.S Army researchers have created a 40 mm grenade to protect the armed forces from menacing, enemy or rogue drones.  The defensive drone grenade takes out the drone with a weighted net. Countermeasure - Net Bagging a Drone The net is spring loaded and ejects from the front of the grenade when it nears the drone target.  The net can be triggered remotely by a person on the ground or automatically by an onboard proximity sensor.
